New Degree

The first ever degree in Web Design degree is now being offered at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. What once was the Information Techonology degree is now offered as a bachelor's or master's concentration in “Information Technology and Web Science.” The new degree focuses on web security, trust, privacy, content value, and the development of the Web of the future. Students graduating on May 29, 2010, will be the first students to receive the new degrees.
